Love the idea Rik of contracts but what happens at the end of it, Can they move if they want too and can we get rid of someone if they have been crap or not on much,, Also what if someone wants to leave but the other clubs don't them ?? Is it the risk they take,

I don't like the idea of the tier system i think if ur good enough than that's all that counts, Look at Razza he played a few games for Sweet fc with a 73 rated pro yet he scored 2 goals one amazing goal may i add and was motm even Rik and Marco are under 80, So the way i see it its the person not the pro that matters,

I think we should all get our heads together now and start getting a plan together for structured guidlines for clubs in 13. If we do it now until we start again in 13 it will be even better for us all...

Contracts - great idea, but we do need some simple guidelines to make it work fairly & realistically
Clubs - Decide how many clubs we require depending on numbers wanting to play.
Goals for the club(s) - Competing club, casual club, ETC...
Other points -

Ideally my plans and i would love to see one main club for sweetpatch with a full 10 or 11 players, playing regular. But i know this is a very tall order with whats happen in the past.

Vision for clubs - FIFA 12/13


Basically am going to post my thoughts what i would like to see on the site that is to do with the PS3 clubs. Hopefully the majority will support the vision and help build to achieve the goals. But am also looking for suggestions to also add and make things more stable for clubs on the site.

First of all, not so much in FIFA 12, although would do no harm to try work towards it, but defo in FIFA 13 i would like to have a Sweetpatch.tv x1. This would be an international club where all members from the site or community can be up for selection to represent Sweetpatch.tv. This club would play other 10/11 side clubs in competition/Match ups or arranged friendlies. It will be a tall order to organised especially as reliability would be key for everyone to show up all at the same time. But am sure if clubs & the site means something to you then its can be achievable. This club will have dedicated GM'S but Admins or a selection committee will have main control or access selection.

Currently i would say we have around 15 active club players playing for various clubs from this site, so it is possible to assemble 11v11 squad.

Now one main objection towards this would be a few players might not be happy club hopping from their current club to the international club of Sweetpatch.tv especially if they have worked hard on getting good stats with their current club, which leads me to a suggestion -

Which is most of us have 2 PSN accounts, so if you have the time or possible to build up 2 VP's to a decent standard. You will have a domestic pro and an International pro, therefore you will not have to club hop or lose any stats. If the players who only have 1 account or dont have the time to build another pro, then i guess you can switch between your domestic club and the international club.

My second thing i would like to see on the site with clubs is to have actual active club league. Now in this FIFA 12 we have tried to sort of done that with the 3 current clubs from the site, but with the 3 clubs being not so active all at the same time it has always been very difficult. Also we have always encouraged active league players to also represent and get involve with the 3 clubs - Sweet FC, Sweet Vintage & Sweet Select, but the majority of the time those players who do play clubs are else where playing for other clubs. So my way of thinking is to invite those clubs to play in the club league to add competition to the 3 current clubs. If a successful league it could attract other clubs to take part or even to recruit more players to our very own clubs.

Now dont get me wrong i do not want to take away from the current set up of the 3 current clubs and having their very own domestic club nights that will not change and may that continue, but what has been mention above is simply to add some substance to clubs, added features we can strive towards, to make things more interesting for all.

There has been a fair few suggestions already in this thread like contracts between our own club members, which can be easily
monitored by the admin or the Managers of their clubs. Something like you have to agree to so many games played before you can leave or be accepted to any of the other inhouse clubs - if you break the contract you get banned or suspended from the other clubs. This will be one way to stop club hoping or pouching other players and leaving them short. We can have a contacts page/list for all players to show exactly what the contact is.

Example -

Player - Nidge
VP - 76
Club - SPTV
Contract - Subject to 20 games - after then to be reviewed. (Agreed by manager)
Added Terms - To improve vp to 80 +

Player - Rab
Club - Sweet FC
Contract - Full season of FIFA 13.
Added Terms - would step down if the club members were below 4 players.


For FIFA 13 - it would be great to see more gaming tags with the community id of Sweet_my game tag. For example -

Sweet-Nidge
Sweet-Rik
Sweet-Rab
Sweet-Frank
Sweet-Viper

Dont want to go on to much before u fall a sleep reading but if you managed to get this far i would really appreciate your comments/thoughts/ideas to add to this and lets work together as a community to make clubs on the site bigger and better

Other key points that could improve clubs -

1. Group communication is key - all club squad members to be in the groups to post/comment on the wall.
2. To improve your VP's to a higher level if possible - to compete against the very best clubs.
3. Tactic/Improve vp nights
4. Encourage new members at all times - to encourage them to stay for the long term.
5. Using network sites like Facebook,Twitter etc....to advertise your clubs progress or to attract players.
6. Get your club involve in tourneys or challenge other official clubs - match ups.
7. Stream possible matches for the community to watch or the FIFA world.
8. Set up rewards or goals for your players to achieve
9. Encourage in your club other interests to bond the players - Mini leagues 1v1 or 2v2 for training, Fantasy footy leagues, other games to play together.

Haven't spoke to mark club manager but i'm sure we would defo join club league with our club and club hoping to internatonal club would be fine for me not to bothered with stats resetting my pro is 89 only a few defender accomps left to do haven't done them cos it's boring doing them
